Quality Control in Hail Cement Company

Hail Cement Company (HCC) produces its OPC Type I and SRC Type V cement in accordance with SASO.GSO 1914 / 2009, American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) C-150 and European Standard EN 197-1 specifications.

QUALITY CONTROL AND ASSURANCE:

A strict Quality Control Management system is in operation at all stages of manufacturing to ensure that the products comply with the relevant specification and they perform in a satisfactory consistent manner.

Hail Cement Company has the most modern and efficient Quality Control System (Robolab) equipped by M/s FLS with fully Automatic Quality Control (QCX) at all stages of Production. Also CNA Cross Belt Analyser have been installed at two stages. First Stage at Limestone Belt Conveyor to control Chemical Properties of Limestone during Pile preparation. Second stage at Raw Mill Belt conveyor to control Raw Mix as per desired Design Mix on continuous basis.

The Fully Automatic Control System in the Robo Lab consists of Auto Sampler with sample receiving from sending station, Grinding Mills, Pellet Press Machine, Fusion Machine, TTR and Conveying System for Pellet to XRF by ROBOT.

The Analysis are confirmed by XRF Analyser as well as Wet Analysis for all Raw Materials, In-Process products, Clinker and Cement.

Since we have Robotics Control System for Quality Control of the cement produced, the human error is being eliminated. Thereby, HCC Products are made consist and reliable.

Physical testing of the products are carried out in a controlled environment using Standard Equipment specified by the GSO, ASTM and EN Standards.
